Datsun S30 Parts: Fitment & Ordering Guide
Building a 240Z, 260Z or 280Z starts with choosing parts that suit your particular car. Datsun Shop Co. offers custom S30 upgrades alongside used and restored components. This guide explains what to check before ordering our grilles, rear cross brace and smaller restoration parts.
Start with your car's year and configuration
Have your model, year and photos ready when asking about fitment. Note any changes to the bumpers, turn signals, dashboard or rear interior. A part described for the S30 chassis is not automatically a direct fit for every model or modified car. The individual product listing is the place to check the intended application.
Choosing a custom Datsun Z grille
Our CNC-cut aluminum Datsun Z grille is offered as a top portion or a full grille with a lower portion. A slim bumper is recommended for the full configuration. Look at the product photos alongside your existing bumper before choosing.
The grille is designed for the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z, but 260Z and 280Z installations may need turn signal relocation and bracket extensions. Some assembly is required. After ordering, email or message us with your Z's year. If your front end has been modified, ask about it before placing the order.
Planning a billet rear cross brace installation
The billet aluminum rear strut cross brace was developed around an early 240Z, specifically a 1971 car. The design is based on the 1970–1972 240Z. Fitment on a 260Z or 280Z has not been confirmed and may require modification.
The upper braces bolt to the factory strut tower mounting points. The lower brackets need fitting, trimming and welding, so this is not a completely bolt-on installation. Review the mounting photos and discuss the work with your installer before ordering.
Ordering a radio delete panel
The 240Z radio delete panel is listed for the 1970–1973 dash opening. A blank panel covers the opening; custom cutouts provide space for a fuel pump switch, USB port or both. Send a message specifying the version you want. Compare your dash opening first, especially if a previous owner has modified it.
Buying used and restored parts
Our used and restored Datsun parts include original components and zinc-plated details. Check each listing for the condition and model application, then compare its photos with the part on your car. Used components can show age, and appearance alone does not establish their operating condition. Ask about any detail the listing does not answer.
Made-to-order lead times
- Custom grille: Typical lead time is 5–6 weeks.
- Billet rear cross brace: Allow approximately 5–6 weeks for production and delivery. It ships from overseas, and timing may vary.
- Fuel pump bracket: Allow up to two weeks for production and delivery. The fuel pump is not included.
